Follow up consultations

Follow up consultations may be helpful to provide additional support through your dog’s behavioural modification process.

Situations where this may be beneficial include:

  • When support greater than that which can suitably be provided by email is necessary. This may, for example include additional help demonstrating and guiding you through specific training techniques.

  • For dogs facing multiple behavioural challenges as it will be important that the initial behavioural modification plan does not overwhelm your dog or yourselves.

Follow up consultations will be necessary if your dog has been recommended behavioural medication whenever this medication is reviewed.

Follow up consultations may include further correspondence with your vet if indicated.

  • Follow up in person consultations (1 hour) £225*

  • Follow up remote consultations (1 hour) £150

  • Follow up remote consultation (30 mins) £75
    * Additional travel charges may be in place where travel time exceeds 45 minutes from GU10

  • Initial telephone consultations (30 minutes) £75

A telephone consultation may be helpful to provide first-aid advice prior to starting a behavioural package. Please be aware that during this call it will not be possible to make a behavioural diagnosis or give advice for modifying your dog’s behaviour. The call will aim to advise how best to help support your dog until an assessment can be arranged.

Please also note that a referral from your primary vet will need to be in place before a telephone consultation is arranged.

Insurance Claims

Please be aware that many insurance companies will cover the behavioural services offered. If insurance claims are made, there will be a nominal charge of £20 for the administration involved in submitting each claim.
